Letter regarding disruptive & disresPECTFUL condudct during events
We greatly appreciate your ongoing support and enthusiasm for our events. Your engagement is what makes SISCA thrive. To ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere, we ask for your cooperation in maintaining the integrity, decorum, and sanctity of our gatherings.
1. Respectful Conduct
Please refrain from any disruptive behavior during our events—especially during presentations by our guest speakers. While we wholeheartedly encourage lively and thoughtful dialogue, all discussions should be conducted with respect and courtesy. Interruptions, heckling, or discourteous remarks during formal presentations will not be tolerated.
2. Professional Courtesy
We have noticed an increase in efforts to recruit or divert attendees for other events during our functions. We ask that you please refrain from doing so. Our events are intended to provide value in an uninterrupted environment. Approaching attendees and asking them to leave our event to attend another event will result in the person doing the soliciting being asked to leave the premises.
3. Consequences of Policy Violations
This letter serves as a formal notice that any violation of these expectations may result in the individual being prohibited from attending future SISCA events. We are committed to maintaining a respectful and productive environment, and we trust that our members share this commitment.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration. We value the contributions and presence of each SISCA member. By adhering to these guidelines, you help ensure that everyone can participate in a meaningful and respectful experience.
We look forward to seeing you—and your thoughtful engagement—at our upcoming events.
