george fay
George Fay Jr. was born in Sanderson, TX on March 18, 1948. He attended San Felipe School District and graduated in May 1966. Many of his summers were spent Iin Nacimiento, Coahuila. He went to visit his grandmother and other relatives and to help with the catlle and horse.
He joined the Job Corps Center and was stationed in Pleasanton, CA for three months. IBM sent the center some intelligent scale test and George was selected. He was among the top ten. He was hired and stayed with the company for almost two years.
He was drafted by the US Army and was stationed in Vietnam for 18 months. When he returned home, he went to San Antonio College for Engineering Technology. He worked overseas in Vietnam with the US Army and in Israel with the State Department.
When he returned home, he worked at Lauglin Civil Service for 20 years. He retired in 2014.
