Election 2022
Picture
Welcome to the Seminole Indian Scouts Cemetery Association's 2022 Election page.

We are excited about being able to gather for our 2022 Seminole Days celebration this year. One of the most important tasks that we will be performing is the election of our 2022 officers and board members. If you are interested in running for a position or if you would like to nominate someone, all the information you need to do so should be available if you click through this section. As always, if you have any questions, please ask.
2022 SISCA ELECTION GUIDELINES

 August 2022

ELECTION TASK GROUP

The President shall appoint three SISCA members to an Election Task Group to oversee the election process for officers and board of directors. The task group shall:
  • examine the questionnaires of all proposed candidates and present the board with consolidated information about those qualifications so that the board can decide who will be on the ballot
  • notify those candidates
  • create, mail, and track ballots
  • establish a process for receiving and securing ballots until Seminole Days
  • establish and administer the process of tallying ballots at Seminole Days

The Board will announce the results at 8PM on Saturday, September 17 during Seminole Days.
No member of the Election Task Group can be a candidate for any position being contested in an election.
Members of the Election Task Group can vote if they are Descendant adult or elder members.
